Under the name Syll I play and produce music. My tracks are played by artists like Benwal, Lammer, Luca vd Hombergh and Lisa Korver. I have been DJing for four years and have played Ploegendienst, Awakenings Upclose and Into The Woods ADE.
You learn to DJ on the same setup you find in the club. I have CDJs and a mixer at home, so you get used to the real thing straight away, with no controller habits to unlearn later. I play behind the decks every weekend myself, and I pass on what I learn there: how to make a transition flow, how to read a room and which tricks you can pull off.

I have been producing for four years. My own sound leans towards trance, tribal house and latincore. What I figured out through trial and error over those years got my tracks into the sets of DJs I always listened to myself. You get that knowledge straight away.

All lessons are one on one. That is the big advantage: with your own questions you don't have to watch endless tutorials, you just ask. I teach you the basics, but also the advanced stuff, like mixing really well and finding the best sounds for your track. Lessons take place at my home, where I have a studio and a DJ setup, or I come to you in Amsterdam or Haarlem.
